Mole Removal

Mole removal can be performed for medical and/or cosmetic purposes. There are many types of moles and vary in shape and size. It is very important to keep an eye on your moles and get them checked annually by our Board Certified Dermatologist. Often, moles will be biopsied and sent to a pathologist to confirm that they are benign. Mole removal depends on the form of skin lesion and can range from a simple shave to a more complex surgical excision. If you have any moles that are particularly bothersome or unsightly, it is best to obtain a consultation for removal.
